Checking in

How much wool can you get for under $25?

If it's Black Friday and you have a coupon, this much.

10 skeins of Patons Classic Merino.
Whee!

And check it out, I finally finished Rob's scarf, just in time for his birthday (the one a year after the one I was intending to make it for.)

I got it half way done and it got warm, so I put it away, and got it out again about a month ago.

It had to compete against all the soakers around here so it didn't go very fast, but, I really think it came out nice.

I really do have lots more content to post, but, I haven't had time!

More later :)

  1. That scarf is beautiful!

I had to miss the black Friday sale (I promised my husband to knit up my stash before I got any more) but I did clean up at the Veteran's Day sale.

  3. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful scarf!!!! As good as the photos are, they totally don't even do justice to how incredible the scarf-bit I saw last winter looked! Someday maybe I'll get to see this in person!

Congrats on the yarn-sale-haul! Where did you find the sale? You know so many good places for stash-expansion......

  4. It is a gorgeous scarf, and I would have fawned over it appropriately had it been at knit night last night.
